Beyond a Budget

Beyond a Budget is a financial education and coaching company helping youth, young adults, and families build healthier relationships with money and develop practical financial skills. We generate revenue through financial education programs, workshops, speaking engagements, and individual and group coaching. We partner with schools, businesses, and community organizations to provide engaging, real-world financial education to the people they serve. What makes Beyond a Budget different is that we go beyond the numbers. Financial decisions are shaped by experiences, behaviors, access, and mindset. Our interactive approach helps participants understand not only what to do with money, but why they make certain financial decisions and how to create healthier habits. Our growth strategy focuses on securing recurring contracts, expanding strategic partnerships, and developing scalable curriculum and educational products. Capital will support marketing, curriculum development, technology, staffing, and operational capacity to expand our reach and increase sustainable revenue.

Our greatest organizational need is building a more consistent and sustainable revenue pipeline. Beyond a Budget has successfully developed programs, partnerships, and community relationships, but the next stage of growth requires converting more of those opportunities into recurring, revenue-generating contracts. I would benefit from support strengthening our sales strategy, identifying and reaching organizational decision-makers, developing long-term school, corporate, and community contracts, and creating systems that produce more predictable revenue. Building this financial stability will allow Beyond a Budget to expand our programs, strengthen our operational capacity, and serve more youth and families without relying heavily on one-time opportunities.

Beyond a Budget addresses the lack of practical, accessible financial education that leaves many youth and families unprepared to make confident financial decisions. We believe financial education can be a tool for breaking unhealthy cycles, creating opportunity, and changing the financial trajectory of families for generations. Our redemptive opportunity is rooted in helping people recognize that how we manage money is connected to stewardship, purpose, and the life we are called to build. We create safe, engaging spaces where individuals can examine their relationship with money without shame and gain practical tools to move forward with confidence. Our work advances God’s Kingdom by equipping people to become responsible stewards of their resources, empowering families, and creating greater access to financial knowledge and opportunity. We demonstrate generosity by investing time, resources, and education into communities that may otherwise lack access to these tools.
