Business Model, Theory of Change

At Dynamic Treasures Learning Center (DTLC), my business model centers on the belief that every child is a unique gift from God. We solve a critical local challenge by providing accessible, high-quality care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, ensuring working parents don’t have to miss work for off-site developmental appointments. We fulfill our families’ needs through play-based learning and allow then to have on-site Speech and Occupational Therapy if needed. Our unique value proposition combines over 30 years of experience, a faith-inspired mission to nurture future leaders, and evidence-based practices from my Master of Education studies. We differentiate DTLC from standard daycares by integrating therapeutic support directly into our daily care and actively advocating for families needing specialized education placements. Our capital plan relies on steady tuition fees, and ongoing training to ensure long-term stability and quality.

Biggest Organizational Needs

I would like help stabilizing our student enrollment to overcome seasonal ups and downs, creating predictable, long-term growth for Dynamic Treasures Learning Center.

Redemptive Opportunity

At Dynamic Treasures Learning Center (DTLC), our redemptive opportunity lies in transforming early childhood care into a ministry that serves the vulnerable and lifts the burden on working families. Early childhood is a critical window of human development, yet many working parents in central Oklahoma struggle to find reliable care that addresses specialized physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. Rooted in the foundational belief that every child is a unique gift from God, we provide a safe, loving environment where children aged 6 weeks to 12 years can flourish through play-based learning. We deliver a deeply meaningful impact by hosting on-site Speech and Occupational Therapy directly at our facility—saving parents from taking unpaid time off work while ensuring children receive the early intervention they need to thrive. Our mission advances God’s kingdom on earth by viewing childcare as a sacred duty to shape future community leaders with love, grace, and purpose. Our dedicated team supports this vision by committing to continuous professional development, ensuring every child receives evidence-based, compassionate care. We demonstrate faithful stewardship by reinvesting funds into our team covering required training, awarding stipends, and building sustainable careers. Guided by ethical leadership, transparent management, and dedicated family advocacy, DTLC operates with complete integrity, reflecting God’s love in everything we do.

Tolonnie Shirley

I am a dedicated educator, business owner, and community advocate with over 30 years of experience supporting children and families. Guided by my faith and a lifelong passion for nurturing young minds, I am living out an answered prayer as the proud owner and operator of my own learning center. My mission is rooted in purposeful service, continuous growth, and doing all that God has called me to do to make a lasting, positive impact on the families in my community. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Family Life Education and a master’s degree in education. As a lifelong learner, I continuously seek out new knowledge and skills to enrich my programs and strengthen my leadership. My faith in Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of my life, and I find immense joy in attending church, serving others, and sharing God’s grace through my daily work. Outside of my professional calling, I treasure time spent with my husband, our blended family of nine children, and our two grandchildren. During my self-care time, I love connecting with friends and family and treating myself to regular hair, nail, and spa appointments. I am deeply grateful for where God has led me, and I remain committed to serving with excellence, integrity, and love.
