Business Model, Theory of Change
Direct Primary Care is a health delivery and membership payment model that provides superior services and value compared to the traditional insurance model of healthcare. The key lever for growth and overall impact will be to contract with employers as they make up the largest segment of our market's insurance coverage. The healthcare system is broken. From inflated prices to rushed visits, doctors and patients are strained in their experience of a true, caring reality. Direct Primary Care restores the doctor-patient relationship by establishing affordable, transparent healthcare that is relaxed and focused on holistic wellness. Through a low, monthly membership fee patients can finally get their health needs met with no costly surprises.
Biggest Organizational Needs
This year we would like to:
Reach 300 Members at our first location
Identify a second provider and have him/her onboarded in the next 12 Months
The present challenge is getting in front of business leaders who could benefit from this model for their employees and educating them on the differences and benefits from the traditional insurance model.
Redemptive Opportunity
Direct Primary Care is a restorative movement that seeks to bring health to Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas by removing the burden of high-cost, rushed/impersonal care from your primary medical provider. These burdens are often passed on the business owners without regard to the lack of sustainability in rising prices and the responsibility they feel to provide high-quality options. In addition to being the right model for patient care, this model is the right solution for business owners. Through improved access, health conditions can be more quickly identified and more readily treated, thus improving our city’s overall health outlook while providing businesses a solution to control claims costs.
