Biggest Organizational Needs
Our #1 organizational goal is building a team of people who share our vision, and to develop relationships with partners that can open up cash flow opportunities. Also, learning how to build a proforma to appropriately assess risks and opportunities.
Currently our business is designed to renovate one house at a time.
Redemptive Opportunity
Growing up in Southern OKC, we have seen very positive growth in both development and business opportunities throughout the decades. However, some of the small business growth has been reserved for a few as a result of family generational mentorship.
As a first-generation college student building a small business, some of my biggest hurdles throughout the years have been building the social and financial capital to take part in new opportunities and to invest in my own success.
We hope to develop in areas that will help build our start-up into a long-lasting multi-generational business with mentorship opportunities for the next generation of small business owners in our southside community.
From a community perspective our vision is to develop a platform that we can share with like-minded individuals and inspire them to become mentors in a circle of influence. It takes a team to build and it takes people willing to share their experience, best business practices, and even their mistakes so that those who would not otherwise have an opportunity to build generational wealth for their families can become successful.
Allowing these entrepreneurs the freedom to use their skill sets encourages a brighter future in our communities.

How it all started…
In 2016, our young family was growing and it was time to start the search for our first family home. We had been renting for several years and were living in a small, beautifully renovated house near the historic Linwood neighborhood.
With that experience, we were on the lookout for properties with clean finishes and superior craftmanship, but with enough room to be comfortable for our ever-expanding family. Unfortunately, the combination of quality and available space turned out to be harder to find than we had anticipated.
Much harder.
We considered building but quickly realized that the hurdles we would have to jump over as first-time buyers, with a new family, and dealing with the roller-coaster of new construction, would quickly become overwhelming and financially draining.
We kept on looking, learning to face the difficulties and disappointments of needing to combine quality, space, and affordability. We held fast to our belief that it was worth the struggle to achieve the benefits of mind, body, and soul, as well as the sense of family and community that the beautiful space we were searching for would provide.
So, we persevered.
What we couldn’t know at the time was the profound impact that this perseverance and passion we were developing, this learning to reimagine homes and spaces to meet both our physical and spiritual needs, would have on our future…and on the futures of our future clients.
Three years later, in 2019, Gaytan Contracting was born. Inspired from the personal realization that in working and overcoming together we had developed the knowledge, understanding, and real-life experience to achieve the dream of our perfect home, and more, we could help others achieve, and even exceed, their own dream as well.
Gaytan Contracting has been committed to providing our clients with thoughtful, personalized designs and superior quality home renovations since 2019. Our goal is, and has always been, to exceed your remodel, new home, commercial, or build-out contracting expectations, and deliver a finished product that you will be proud of for years to come. Your dream is our dream.
