hilltop clinic
We know that our neighbors were created in the image of God, are loved by him, and that God cares about their whole-person health. Our goal is to reflect that love to families and their children by providing high-quality pediatric care in the name of Jesus.
In short, we see an opportunity within our space to do what Jesus did in his ministry, to share the good news of the coming kingdom and to help bring healing for physical ailments. We’re excited now as we venture into trying to better connect our partners to the work we are doing and invite them into this same goal - to see all of OKC flourishing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Redemptive Opportunity
Our mission is sharing the healing love of Jesus with our community by promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. People in our community often meet barriers and difficulty in regards to their health and accessing healthcare. We also know that our neighbors were created in the image of God, are loved by him, and that God cares about their whole-person health. Our goal is to reflect that love to families and their children by providing high-quality pediatric care in the name of Jesus. God has given us amazing opportunities to provide this care to over 1,200 patients born in 22 different countries and almost 6,000 visits over the last 3 years. We have seen children who have never had primary care in their lives receive it for the first time. We have had parents cry with us after we helped them identify major medical problems in their children that they had been seeking answers to for years. We’ve even had the opportunity to pray for and share Jesus with refugees from the other side of the world.

Business Model
Our pediatric primary care is built to serve kids who have trouble accessing quality care, specifically children on SoonerCare or who are uninsured. Our estimate is that around 10,000 kids in the OKC metro do not have medical insurance and thus struggle to find health care of almost any kind. Another 130,000 or more have SoonerCare and often struggle to find quality primary care. At Hilltop Clinic, we believe every kid deserves a quality medical home, and we currently offer that to over 1000 patients in our clinic. Though there are many clinics in OKC serving children, Hilltop is unique in that we desire to see whole-person care by promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our patients and their families are not numbers, they are people created in the image of God. In everything we do, we strive to treat our families as such, from the way we schedule, to how long we allow for visits, to the way we involve families in their care. Roughly 75% of our patients are on SoonerCare, and we bill this insurance for their services. The 25% of our patients that are uninsured have a $20 out-of-pocket cost for any visit. This income covers roughly 60-70% of our budget needs. The remainder of our funding is raised through foundations, private donors, and grants.
