Mission Statement

Our vision is to help people know more about the authentic flavors of African meals while we educate them about its rich culture as well.

Business Model

We have a tuition base business model. We don“t have specific data as far as the market size for homeschoolers in our area, but we have seen significant growth within our own enrollment just in 1 1/2 years. The Edmond Homeschoolers Facebook group has 2.2k members and one of the OKC homeschooling Facebook groups has 2.4k members. The United States has seen an increase of homeschoolers.

Our most powerful key levers for growth are currently retention and referral. 90% of our students re-enrolled after the first year. Many of our new enrolled students for the current school year were referred by existing students.

Redemptive Opportunity

We have a Business to Consumer model. We prepare our meals from scratch fresh for our consumers to take the kitchen stress away from them. We have a potential market anywhere within the USA, UK & Canada – These are countries we currently ship our products to. We have a wide variety of meal options, including snacks which makes it easy to reach almost everyone, the uniqueness in flavor of each meals, allowing each individual find a “favorite” spicy, sweet or savory. The ability to retain our customers and gain new ones from referrals has played a major role in our business growth. We also make sure to stay active and create awareness on our social media platforms which drives a different section of the market and has been very favorable to JOLAS KITCHEN. This has also helped us stay ahead of our competitors especially locally but we can move in further online if we keep working on our packaging for shipped food boxes.
