What will the creative action of Christians be?

We believe that entrepreneurs will play an outsized role in the story of OKC becoming a place where All people Flourish.  Following the lead of our partner organization, Praxis, we have begun to name specific Opportunities for Redemptive Imagination. These are destructive systems, areas of cultural decay, or places of redemptive opportunity that we believe could be greatly impacted through redemptive entrepreneurship. By naming them we we can harness the energy of our shared creative focus.

Our ORI’s are certainly not unique to OKC, but they are areas we believe carry an urgency, a spotlight, a sense of “now is the time.” These are the areas we seek to match need with calling. “If not us, who?  If not here, where?  If not now, when?”  Some of these areas we’re already celebrating, as it seems like many of our Ventures are already focused there. Others are areas that seem frustratingly far off but we want to begin by naming our intention. Regardless of which end of the spectrum – we are committed to the long game. We don’t begin to assume that entrepreneurs carry the answers to all of the challenges of our city. As an organization and a network, we humbly engage, collaborate, and resource entrepreneurs that have a desire to build things that bless people.
