Wellstead’s vision is continual discovery of peace, wellness, and adventure. Our hope is that our groups of guests who often feel unseen and serve in thankless roles will receive love, joy, and know they truly are seen by our community. We are COST-FREE to guests, eliminating the financial burden of paying for a time away. This gives the opportunity for more people to say yes to rest and refuel. It is designed to provide a lasting impact on the participants’ well-being and capacity to thrive. Our goal is to provide them the space to process stress and anxiety in a safe and fun environment while returning home feeling rested, restored, and rejuvenated for their next season in life.

We need financial resource partners who believe in unreasonable hospitality. The ones who think outside the box to bring joy, whimsy, and rest into the lives of foster care families, single parents, and ministers. Partners who like to bring smiles to the world by backing the gift of 3 days of rest, unexpected/fun packages, and self-care workshops through finances and time to create the unique space needed to rejuvenate and fuel the fire in our community servants.

Wellstead’s focus is to take care of, or nurture, Oklahoma City’s community. We are moved to lend a hand in the hospitality department by providing tangible ways of people experiencing Jesus’ love and teachings in a unique way. We are called to teach others that rest is not only physically and emotionally important, but it is designed by God which also impacts us spiritually. We desire to see our community refreshed to continue the good work they are doing in the lives of others. Every “yes” has a cost and in order to stay healthy Wellstead provides a retreat resource as lifeline amidst responsibilities. Recovery requires rest.
